I have put another outfit together which shows more of the music indie fashion. I think the person modelling for the front cover should have a guitar because it will let the reader know exactly what the magazine is about. Example of Indie Pop Music- Ellie Goulding
This is a video that I found of Ellie Gouldings 'Explosions'. I have chosen this video because although it is not typical Indie music, Ellie has quite an Indie pop voice as it she has quite a rustic and folky feel to her voice. In her album she has incorporated the use of acoustic guitar, piano and heavy vocals which all have an 'electronic edge' and are all typical elements of indie music.
Example of Indie Music- Arctic Monkeys
I have chosen the video 'I bet you look good on the dance floor' because this song is a typical example of indie music by one of the most famous indie bands. The fact that the music video is a live recording resembles the do-it-yourself theme of indie hence the shortened term for 'independent'. The Arctic Monkeys also have minimal use of auto-tune when recording their song as their main priority is the quality of the music rather than the electronic and computerised sound sticking to its roots.
